Quadratique product guide
Quadratique connects issue tracking with coding Agents running on development machines. Capture work, delegate an issue to a reusable Agent, observe the run, and keep a human review and merge gate before the work is complete.
Every workspace member can create and organize issues, shape the workspace’s workflow, and collaborate through descriptions and comments.
How work is organized
- A workspace contains its members, issues, statuses, and tags.
- An issue is a unit of work with a required title and optional description, assignee, priority, and tags.
- A status records where an issue is in the workflow.
- A tag adds a workspace-specific label and color to one or more issues.
- A sub-issue breaks an issue into smaller pieces of work.
- A blocking relationship shows which issue must move before another can.
- A machine is an enrolled development machine that can execute work.
- A Runtime is a detected coding harness and its available models.
- An Agent is a reusable configuration bound to one Runtime and model.
- A run is one immutable execution of an Agent for an issue.
What you can do
Delegate an issue to a coding Agent
Connect a development machine with the CLI, create a private Agent bound to a detected Codex or Claude Code Runtime, and allow it to work on selected boards. Route a To Do issue to the Agent and follow it from the queue through execution, human review, and merge.

Capture and plan work
Create an issue with the context teammates need, assign it to one member, set a priority, and apply as many tags as needed. Break larger work into sub-issues without imposing a fixed hierarchy depth.

Use the list to search, filter, sort, and group active issues. Switch to the board to see work by status and move a card as its status changes.

Adapt the workflow
Every new workspace starts with these statuses:
- Backlog
- To Do
- Paused
- In Progress
- In Review
- Done
- Canceled
Members can add, rename, reorder, and remove custom statuses, and maintain a shared catalog of colored tags.
Preserve context
Descriptions and comments support structured content so decisions, code, tables, links, and images remain readable inside the issue. Everyone in the workspace can read comments; only a comment’s author can revise or delete it.
