Workspaces and members

Create the shared boundary for members, issues, statuses, and tags.

A workspace is the shared boundary for issues, members, statuses, and tags. Members of one workspace cannot use its content or relationships from another workspace.

Create a workspace

Select Create workspace, provide a valid name, and confirm. The creator is added as the first member and can enter the workspace immediately.

A new workspace contains:

  • no issues;
  • no custom tags; and
  • the default statuses in their configured order.

Invite someone by email

  1. Open the workspace menu and select Settings.
  2. Open Members.
  3. Enter the person’s email address.
  4. Select Send invite.

The person appears as invited, not as a member. They become a member only after signing in and accepting a valid invitation.

Create a shareable invitation

  1. Open Settings and then Members.
  2. Select Create shareable link.
  3. Copy the link and send it through a trusted channel.

A signed-in person who accepts a valid link joins the workspace without a separate email invitation.

Treat a shareable link as access to your workspace: send it only to people you intend to invite.

When an invitation cannot be accepted

An invitation may be expired, revoked, malformed, or already used. In those cases, Quadratique does not create a workspace membership. Ask an existing member for a new invitation rather than repeatedly trying the old link.

Member capabilities

The current workspace model does not have internal permission tiers. Workspace members can manage issues and tracking configuration. Everyone can read issue comments, but only the author of a comment can edit or delete that comment.
