Get started with Quadratique

Create a workspace, invite a teammate, and move your first issue into progress.

This guide takes you from an empty account to a shared workspace with one issue in progress.

1. Create a workspace

  1. Select Create workspace.
  2. Enter a name, such as Ludo Tech.
  3. Confirm the creation.

You become the workspace’s first member. The workspace starts with no issues, no tags, and the default statuses already available.

2. Invite a teammate

  1. Open the workspace menu and select Settings.
  2. Open Members.
  3. Send an invitation to your teammate’s email address.

The invitation remains pending until the teammate accepts it. Sending an invitation does not add the person to the workspace immediately.

You can also create a shareable invitation link. Anyone using the link must be signed in and the link must still be valid when they accept it.

3. Create the first issue

  1. Open Issues.
  2. Select New issue.
  3. Enter a title. A title is the only required field.
  4. Optionally add a description, status, priority, assignee, or tag.
  5. Select Create issue.

If you do not choose a status, the issue starts in Backlog.

For example, create Checkout fails for invoice customers, assign it to Sam, set the priority to Urgent, and add a Payments tag.

4. Move the issue forward

Open the issue and change Status from Backlog to In Progress. The new status appears anywhere the issue is shown.

You can also switch to the board and drag the issue card to another status column.

5. Add the context a teammate needs

Open the description editor and explain the problem, expected outcome, and any important constraints. Use the discussion at the bottom of the issue for follow-up comments.
